A single line runs from crown to chin, and everything changes on either side of it. To the left, pale cream and cool shadow. To the right, burning red-orange, the colour of a darkroom light left on. Bauhaus Lady No.6 is the series at its most reduced — a face that fills almost the entire frame, framed by a pale circular halo, flanked by semicircular earrings that echo the target circles massed in the lower half of the composition. Fine vertical lines descend like strings or organ pipes. Nothing is accidental. Nothing is wasted.
This is an original artwork from THAT Poster Shop, the sixth in the Bauhaus Lady series and its most graphically precise entry. Where earlier pieces moved and swept and spiralled, No.6 holds perfectly still — divided, balanced, composed with the economy of someone who knows that the strongest images are built from the fewest elements. Available from A3 to 70×100cm, each print is produced on premium quality stock, preserving the sharp division of tone and the warmth of that saturated orange field.
In a home, this piece works best where it has room to be read slowly. A clean white wall. A hallway with good light. A living room where the other furniture already knows how to behave. It suits interiors that lean modernist or minimalist, and collectors who value precision over decoration. As the sixth in the series, it closes the set with a quiet authority that earns its place.
