De Sede lounge chair, model 'S231', patinated leather, chromed metal, Switzerland, 1960s

This lovely and stylish chair is based on a solid construction featuring a large backrest and deep seat which offers great comfort to the sitter. The designer decided to stay modest with decoration by implementing leather lace and leather web, which is a similar pattern seen in a baseball glove. De Sede placed the chair on a five-star base that allows the user to rotate the chair in a desired position. The Leather is beautifully worn and the chair shows signs of use. Please see photos.
